Did you know that the actual train station, King’s Cross has a real platform 9¾ where you can take pictures and a gift shop to go with it?
Alnwick Castle, Northumberland
This is the location that Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was filmed in Autumn 2000. Madam Hooch taught first years to ride their broomsticks in this very place and there is also scenes of students going about their daily business here.
